Foothill Band Review Itinerary
Saturday, Oct.27th, 2007
Saturday morning… load truck
4:30 am: wake up/ get dressed in underclothes for uniforms.
4:45 am: start loading bus! Bring items to do hair
5:00 am: depart for Amador Valley HS. This is the latest time we can leave.
8:00 am: arrive at Amador Valley HS, eat breakfast
8:30 am: Dress in Uniforms
9:00 am: warm-up (winds) percussion separate
10:20 am: Report to parade line-up
10:45 am: Parade Step off
10:55: Formal inspection (yes, there will be judges walking on the outside of the ranks and files. Every band member must be wearing black socks-no exceptions)
11:05 am: Parade Comp.
11:13 am: Percussion Comp.
At the end of the parade, we will be loading back onto the bus with our equipment and driving to Foothill HS for Awards and Field Comp.
12:00 Noon: Dress In Polos and Khakis
12:30 pm: Lunch… After Lunch, you must stay with the group.
2:00 pm: Parade Awards @ Foothill HS Stadium
The first field performance is at 3:45. If you would like to watch the first performance to get a feel for what we will be doing that night, we will go as a group.
4:00 pm: Get dressed for field competition
4:30 pm: Warm-up in sections
5:00 pm: Warm up as a Band
5:15 pm: Line up to proceed to warm-up area
5:30 pm: Warm Up Area
6:10 pm: Stand By area
6:20 pm: Ready Area
6:30 pm: Field Performance Division 3
6:50 pm: change back into polos and khakis/load equipment truck
7:15 pm: We will be walking to the field area as a group. Dinner is not provided. You will be able to eat once we get to the stadium.
10:45 pm: Field Awards
11:30 pm: load bus
2:00 am: arrive back at Union Mine
*Parents: The Parade Competition is at Amador Valley HS. What I would recommend doing is parking at Foothill Hs and they carpooling with each other to Amador Valley Hs to watch the parade. All food serving will take place at Foothill HS.
